This is a short for Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 by Mob Entertainment Poppy Playtime is an episodic horror video game developed and published by American indie developer Mob Entertainment. The player takes the role of a former employee of toy-making company Playtime Co., who revisits its abandoned toy factory 10 years after its staff's disappearance. In this short of Poppy Playtime we learn about Catnap. Believe it or not, this monster in Poppy Playtime is actually a 7 year old child. Hear Me Out The story of Catnap is a sad one due to this man, The Doctor. If you don't know the bigger bodies initiative made children into real life beings modeled after Playtime's Co Toy line. And there was a choice made to pick a child who would be punished for having an imaginary friend. Or so they thought... You see, Theordore Grambell was a troubled 7 year old orphan who had no friends and actively went sleuthing around Playcare at night. It was then that the Prototype found him and formed a friendship where he asked Theo to unlock a maintenance door to let all the orphans free... or maybe just himself... Only problem was Theo was still a child, and he electrocuted himself trying to do this which made the Prototype do something that no one thought possible. He gave up his own freedom to get the orphaned child backto the Doctor in hopes of saving him. But The Doctor had other plans... He chose Theo to become Experiment 1188 and as punishment for trying to free his peers make him patrol Playcare so that no orphaned child would ever escape which in turn made Catnap became obsessed with his only friend, the prototype, who he started to worship. In fact, any Playtime creation was punished for not doing the same and joining his cult. Even after showing his allegiance to the almighty claw and being electrocuted to near death again, the Prototype took things into his own hand, quite literally, and took Theo's life. Why?
