It actually sounded much more like a factory than a ghost house, so that's kinda what I went with for this remix. I actually had the midi (and thus the remix) for a while in FL Studio, just didn't ported until 2021. Hooded Edge I hear you, I love the DKC clank sample. My goal with this song was to make it a lot more creepy, while still keeping that Mario tone to it. A lot of deep strings and layering, ontop with a breath sound effect from Final Fantasy VI. It's not until you reach the second loop where the percussion turns a lot more...industrial. Now, this once ghostly theme turns into an industry branch, creating koribo shoes for Bowser's troops and other such weapons. Oh Mario, maybe you should've visited the ghost houses in your first adventure, perhaps the koopa industrial revolution wouldn't have boomed in SMB3!
