Why I shave my Face | Dermaplaning | Dos and Donts | Benefits of shaving Face #ashortaday #skincare
Do’s; Use a moisturiser or oil for slip and for razor to go on smoother Sanitise your razor after every use and replace the razor after few uses Make sure you keep it slightly tilted at 45 degrees angle and go downward in short strokes Always moisturise your face after and sunscreen is a given, cannot skip Donts; Don’t use actives for 1-2 days, especially no AHA BHA as chemical exfoliation over physical exfoliation (shaving) will lead to double exfoliation sensitising your skin Don’t go straight or 90 degrees and don’t be very harsh or apply too much pressure Don’t use blunt razors or one razor multiple times No, your hair does not grow back thicker or darker. Hair growth is dependent on hormones and not the method of hair removal. It may just ‘appear’ darker as shaving stubs the hair. I have been shaving since 5-6 years and the hair growth has only reduced since then. Have you tried face shaving/Dermaplaning? #faceshaving #shavingface #dermaplaning #skincareshorts
