5:00 pm Mass for Christmas 2021 – Nativity of the Lord
In the first reading, we hear the prophecy of Isaiah that "The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light." On the Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord we acknowledge that the Word of God indeed has come to our burdened world in the flesh, smashing the yoke of sin. As our Redeemer, Christ breaks through the darkness of human hearts, bringing freedom and light. “Today is born our Saviour, Christ the Lord… Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice!”
