December 15th,2024 | Third Sunday Of Advent | Sunday Morning Worship

Welcome to our Advent service at First Baptist Church of Crown Heights on December 15th, 2024! 🌟 As we continue this season of hope and anticipation, we invite you to worship and reflect with us. The service opens with the beautiful Introit, “Emmanuel, Emmanuel” (No. 189), followed by the Call to Worship and the Lighting of the Advent Candle led by Rev. Dr. Christine Caton. 🕯️ We’ll sing together the timeless Congregational Hymn, “O Come, All Ye Faithful” (No. 199), before entering Praise & Worship led by The Gospel Ensemble, lifting our voices with “Hosanna! Blessed Be The Rock!” and “Majesty” by the CRL Mass Choir. 🎶 Rev. Dr. Ava Jolley will lead us in the Congregational Prayer, followed by a Choral Response that deepens our collective worship experience. Sis. Alecia Mason, our Church Clerk, will share updates in "Life at First Baptist," and Rev. Moore will provide the Pastoral Emphasis. 📢 During The Offertory, we’ll celebrate with the joyful “Jesus, What A Wonderful Child!” by Dottie Peoples. The Scripture Reading from Luke 2:1-15 (NRSV) reminds us of the miraculous birth of Christ. The Sermonic Meditation, “Goodness of God” by CeCe Winans, will prepare our hearts for the message. Rev. Dr. Rashad Raymond Moore will deliver the Sermon & Invitation, offering a word of hope and encouragement for the Advent season. The service will close with a Benediction from Rev.
