Make sure your ribbon is double face so it will have the same satin look on both sides. You will also need scissors, and a lighter. STEP #1: Cut your ribbon 22 to 24 inches long. Leave enough ribbon hanging for your tail on your candy apple bow. STEP #2: Take the ribbon and pull up in between your index and middle finger. STEP #3: Wrap the ribbon around your index finger. STEP #4: Pull the ribbon over and tuck in the “V” section in between both your index and middle fingers. STEP #5: Flip your hand over. STEP #6: Pull the ribbon out. STEP #7: Flap the ribbon over in between both your index and middle fingers. STEP #8: Flip your hand over again. STEP #9: Take the ribbon and tuck “UNDERNEATH” the flap that sits on the bottom right side. STEP #10: Pull the ribbon up towards the sky and down to secure the knot. You may have to pull up and down several times to make sure the knot is tight. Cut one tail slant up on one side, and slant down on the other side.
