We also celebrate the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God. We can learn from Mary how she was able to go through the agonies and difficulties of her life with aplomb. The tenderness of her heart, the acceptance of her calling, the obedience to follow God’s will, all were the result of her deep contemplation in a life full of grace.
