Today’s Reflection on the Readings According to the reading from the Gospel for today, Simeon was a holy and upright man who trusted God's promise that he would not experience death until he saw the Messiah. He continued to be receptive to the promptings of the Spirit every day while demonstrating this trust in God, dear friends. Yes, dear friends, our Lord is calling each of us to have that same faith in His promise to the very end of our lives today. Lord, send your Holy Spirit to each of us so that we may have hope that will be richly rewarded at any point in our lives. Lord, remove all the negative elements from our lives. And empower us with the light so that we can love you and encourage others to do the same. Prayer Lord, I give you praise for shining in my life and that of my family. Lord, I also thank you for giving me 524 members of Mother Mary's Protection family as a blessing. Lord, grant that my family expands far and wide. Lord, multiply the number of subscribers. May we spread the good news of your kingdom to everyone who is yearning and waiting. God bless each of us so that we may yearn to be alert to the promptings of the Holy Spirit with faith and hope.
