Sermon for the Tenth Sunday after Pentecost - August 17, 2025 - The Rev. J. Gregory Morgan

This week, The Rev. J. Gregory Morgan discusses how Jesus is headed up to Jerusalem where he knows that what awaits him there is conflict, betrayal, and public ridicule, but he is surrounded by people who have no idea about any of this; Jesus is stressed but also saddened, disappointed and angry over Israel’s inability to see how God’s people are headed toward a tragic outcome in their war with Rome which could and should have been avoided.
