Ilex cornuta Lindl. & Paxton. 중국 북부 ~ 남부에 분포하며 우리나레에는 전라남북도, 제주도에 자생한다. 바닷가의 숲속에서 자라는 상록 활엽 관목이다. 뿌리 줄기 껍질 열매는 약용으로 사용한다. 부안 도청리의 호랑가시나무 군란은 천연기념물 제122호에 지정되어 있다.(국가생물종지식정보시스템) It is distributed in northern to southern China, and it grows in Jeollabuk-do and Jeju-do in Korea.
