(1 lb.) package spaghetti noodles 2 can mushroom soup 1 small onion, chopped 1 can (8oz) drained mushrooms (or fresh) 2½ cup cheddar cheese ½ package (32oz) of chicken broth 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp pepper 1 tsp salt 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1 Sleeve (32 count) butter crackers, crushed *NOTE: Boneless chicken or can chicken can be substituted 🧑‍🍳 DIRECTIONS: In a 6 quart stockpot, add water seasoned with garlic powder, pepper, salt, and two chicken breast; bring to a medium boil; boil till tender - around 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease with cooking spray a 13 x 9 casserole dish. Turn stockpot heat off and remove the chicken breast and allow to cool. After the chicken breast cool, pull the chicken off the bone and shredded. Using the same stockpot with water that chicken was boiled, add more water and cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain spaghetti well. Combine cooked chicken breast, 2 cans of soup, onion, mushrooms, chicken broth, garlic powder, pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, and cheddar cheese (save ½ cup for top of mixture before it goes into the oven). Mix well. If mixture is too dry add chicken broth. Add cooked spaghetti to chicken mixture and stir to combine. Pour mixture into greased dish. Sprinkle the last ½ cup of cheddar cheese on the top of the casserole. Top mixture with crushed crackers. Bake at 350° until hot and bubbly - usually around 30 minutes.
