Welcome to our celebration of the Holy Mass for the Saturday Vigil Mass for the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. In today's readings we are reminded to be in awe and thanksgiving for all that the Lord has done in creation, in calling a people to himself, in salvation through the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and in inviting us to share in his saving work. Our part is accomplished through constant recognizing of the presence of our Lord throughout our day through prayer including thanksgiving, contrition, adoration, and supplication. The Responsorial Psalm is Psalm 98: "The Lord is coming to judge the peoples with equity."
