Fetus in Utero relates its status when lying in womb, there are various terms that describe here like Lie, Presentation, Attitude, Denominator, Presenting Part, Position. Lie - It is a relation between the long axis of the fetus that to the uterus or maternal spine. Presentation - It is the part of the fetus that lies in the lower pole of the uterus. Presenting Part - It is the part on a presentation that overlies the internal os, which could be felt by the examiner while doing PV. Attitude - It is the relation between the different body parts of the fetus with each other. Denominator - It is the bony fixed point on the presenting part that comes in relation to the maternal pelvis.
