Ganesh Chaturthi is just around the corner & what’s more exciting than making everyone’s FAVOURITE modak at home? Whether you want to offer Prasad at home or take it someone’s house you’re visiting, it is perfect 😍 All you need is- 🤎 250 g Mawa 🧑‍🍳A little more than 1/2 cup/ 75 g Powdered Sugar (this is a baking measuring cup) 🫶🏼A little Elaichi 🍶Few Strands of Kesar mixed with milk 🌟 Vishesh Tippani - Measure properly, by weight is the best for amazing results ⁠Cook the mawa well until it is fairly dry, it will dry further while it cooks but this is extremely important else you will not be able to shape it. ⁠Add sugar once mawa has cooled & should just be slightly hot. Else sugar will melt the full mixture ⁠The Modak will get it’s proper texture after resting for 15 minutes Try it out & let me know how it turns out.
