Ganesh Chaturthi is just around the corner & what’s more exciting than making everyone’s FAVOURITE modak at home? Whether you want to offer Prasad at home or take it someone’s house you’re visiting, it is perfect 😍 All you need is- 🤎 250 g Mawa 🧑🍳A little more than 1/2 cup/ 75 g Powdered Sugar (this is a baking measuring cup) 🫶🏼A little Elaichi 🍶Few Strands of Kesar mixed with milk 🌟 Vishesh Tippani - Measure properly, by weight is the best for amazing results Cook the mawa well until it is fairly dry, it will dry further while it cooks but this is extremely important else you will not be able to shape it. Add sugar once mawa has cooled & should just be slightly hot. Else sugar will melt the full mixture The Modak will get it’s proper texture after resting for 15 minutes Try it out & let me know how it turns out.
