«It's My Life» by Bon Jovi (bass cover)

Ultimate-Guitar.com Official Tab for this song is incorrect — for example, there stand two hits at the end, when there is clearly no hit at all. And in general it requires low C, standard tuning won't work here, so I came up with my own part. The tune requires the low-B string and doesn't need G string, so I took my hetero-lifemate's Epiphone Thunderbird for this one because he has it in B-standard. I play it with .6mm pick. Bass as usual goes into direct box (Radial Engineering Stage Bug SB-2) and interface (Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen). DAW is Reaper, VST-plugins are Plugin Alliance Ampeg SVTVR Classic, Fuse Audio Labs VPRE-2C and Focusrite Red 2 EQ and Red 3 Compressor; for this one I also added TSE Audio BOD (SansAmp Tech 21 NYC kinda bass overdrive). #bassunday #weeklybasses #playthrough #epiphone #thunderbird #bassguitar
