Today, my travels take me to the UCLA campus (on its 100 year anniversary) and Westwood Village, California to visit a number of historic landmarks and movie and TV filming locations. I also visit the nearby Westwood Village Memorial Park and Cemetery and the final resting places of actor and comedian Rodney Dangerfield, billionaire Armand Hammer and actors Marilyn Monroe and Farrah Fawcett. Each of them had a special connecton to the University of California Los Angeles. Some of the movies and TV shows filmed at UCLA include Rodney Dangerfield's Back To School, Abbot and Costello's Here Come The Co-Eds, The Godfather, The Graduate, Old School, The A Team, Beverly Hills 90210, Charlie's Angels, CHIPS, Dallas, Dynasty, Emergency and hundreds of others. Famous UCLA alumni include Kareem Abdul Jabar, Arthur Ashe, Sean Astin, James Dean, Leonardo DiCaprio, Walter Koenig, Heather Locklear, Marilyn Monroe, Steve Martin and many others.
