Soya chunks tikki - Healthy Protein rich recipe #jeyashriskitchen

Soya chunks tikki Preparation time: 15 mins Cooking time: 25 mins Makes:9 tikkis Ingredients 1 cup soya chunks 1 bunch coriander leaves 2 green chilis 1 boiled sweet potato 3 tbsp sattu flour ( you can use roasted besan, ragi or any millet flour) ¼ cup finely chopped capsicum 1 finely chopped onion Salt as needed 1 tsp garam masala 1 tbsp kasoori methi 1-2 tbsp oil Method: • Boil 1 cup soya chunks in water for 5 minutes. • Drain water completely by squeezing it out and pulse it in a mixie. • Add a bunch of coriander leaves and 2 green chilis in a mixie jar • Pulse coarsely, do not add water. • Add 1 boiled sweet potato in a bowl, I grated it and added. You can mash it too. • Add the pulsed soya chunks, coriander chili paste, chopped capsicum, finely chopped onion, kasoori methi, garam masala, salt and sattu flour. • Instead of sattu flour, you can add roasted gram flour, ragi flour or jowar flour too. • Mix well. • Make lemon sized balls • Flatten into tikkis • Add 1-2 tbsp oil in a pan and place the tikkis • Cook in medium flame • Cook on both sides and take out from the pan • Soya chunks tikkis are ready Notes: 1. You can serve this as it is or serve with any dip of your choice 2. This can be served as burger patties too 3. You can add scrambled tofu, grated carrot, broccoli to this Soya chunks tikki.
