2022-12-24 Christmas Eve Service: The Wait is Over

After centuries of waiting, God kept his promise and the Messiah, who would bring salvation, was finally born. And amazingly, the first announcement didn’t come to those who were actually waiting. It came to a band of shepherds just trying to keep their sheep safe another night. The angels who announce Christ’s birth tell the shepherds that this is good news of great joy for all the people! The amazing news of Advent is that it’s not just good news for those who are waiting. It’s good news for all of us…the distracted, the addicted, the numb, and those who have given up.
