He was the 263rd pope since St. Peter and is known for giving a man who shot him a second chance. We do not know when our time will come nor how it will transpire. But like the fig tree, we are given a second chance to bear fruit. This is the 928th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
