Yunjung-ro Cherry Blossom Road is about 1.7km long from the southern end of Sogang Bridge in Seoul via the back of the National Assembly building. In 1968, 1,440 royal cherry trees, which are 30 to 35 years old, were planted simultaneously on the 7km-long road above the open area built around Yeouido. As a result, cherry blossoms flow every April, and among them, Yeouido's Yunjung-ro is the most famous cherry blossom road. Vehicle control takes place during the annual cherry blossom festival. In 2020 and 2021, the festival was not held due to Covid19. [여의도 윤중로 벚꽃길] 매년 따뜻한 봄기운이 살포시 느껴질 때면 여의도에서는 우리나라 제주도가 원산지인 왕벚나무 1,886주가 만개해 넓게 트인 한강을 배경으로 펼쳐집니다. 윤중로 벚꽃길은 서울 서강대교 남단에서 국회의사당 뒤편을 경유하여 약 1.7km 길이 입니다. 1968년, 여의도를 돌아가며 축조된 개방 위 7km에 이르는 도로가에 30~35년 된 왕벚나무 1,440여 주를 동시 심었다고 합니다. 그로 인해 해마다 4월이면 벚꽃이 흐드러지는데, 그중에서도 여의도 윤중로의 벚꽃길이 가장 유명합니다. 매년 벚꽃 축제가 열리는 기간에는 차량 통제가 이뤄집니다. 2020년과 2021년에는 코로나19로 인해 축제는 열리지 않았습니다.
