We often ask, or at least wonder, "Is God really in control?" There are many times and plenty of "evidence" that make us ask that question---when disasters like earthquakes happen, or terrorism, or financial crises or troubles in relationships, marriage, and the family. The answer to that question for faith is a confident "Yes!" Today we hear Jesus encouraging His disciples as He warns them of the troubles to come and we can apply these words to our own hope for endurance as we await His final return when He will gather us to Himself in eternal victory.
