Turkey arrests 9 British nationals trying to enter Syria
The number of foreign fighters attempting to join ISIL in Syria continues to rise. Nine British nationals have been arrested in Hatay province, Turkey, as they tried to cross into Syria. They are being held at a military outpost in Reyhanli,and are expected to be deported back to Britain on Thursday. British security services estimate that about 600 British nationals have gone to Syria or Iraq to join militant groups like ISIL.
