Playthrough Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 GERMAN DUB (Episode 1)

This is a Playthrough of Episode 1 of Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2, with the official german dub and no vocal commentary. I skipped and fast-forwarded some parts of the game because the focus is on how the new dubs make the episode feel like. So here I wrote down my opinion on the new voices. You don't have to share it; I'm just a noob criticizing art. :P -------------------------------------- Most important first, Jesse sounds... well yeah this isn't anywhere near the original voice, neither the emotion, nor the feel, and not really the humor either. I guess it's just an average voice, but it'd kinda hoped for something unique for Jesse, she is the protagonist after all. Grr... Axel sounds kinda way to old and... /serious/. Feel like I'm talking to some 40-years-old business man lol Olivia is fine. Although I kinda wish they'd pick something similiar to her old voice, because I really prefer a deeper voice for her personality, but whatever. Lukas... you need to get used to him, but after all I think this voice fits him well. Or, it could be worse. He sounds just average, I guess. Radar's probably the best of them, be serious here. Cute, emotional, and fitting for the small precious cinnamon roll he is. :3 Ahh, and like I said, I wish they'd went for a deeper/tougher voice for Petra, just because HEY! People say german sounds brutal, so we gotta keep that image up, right!?! XD But I gotta say. Her voice made me laugh a few times. Exspecially her sarcastic voice OMG XDDD 👌 Jack's voice is also something you have to get used to, but it's doing an okay job to fit his personality so. It's fine. Yeah. Now the side-characters are okay... they matched Stacy quite good I think. Stampy on the other side... ehh, a little bit creepy XD but I guess his voice is VERY unique so finding a good replica may be complicated, so... Did I forgot anyone? Oh, but one more thing: It makes ABSOLUTELY no sense to keep the original voices for like screams, groaning, and these small things. If you didn't know the original voices, it'd be just confusing as hell. And it's not very professional, really. Summary: I would let my 10-year-old daughter play the dubbed version (if I had a daughter), but if you want to take the game serious, I'd stick to the original voices. It's sad to say, but the translations aren't exactly brilliant, so... -------------------------------------- Found any language/grammar mistakes? I hope not lol -------------------------------------- This video footage is available for further use in videos. The rights to the image and sound belong to the producers of the video game shown. Thanks for watching!
