The Third Sanctuary but the time signature changes are counted

The Third Sanctuary but I counted how many time signature changes there are -- Timestamps: 0:00 - 9/8 (18/8) 0:25 - 11/8 0:31 - 15/8 0:34 - 11/8 1:05 - 10/8 (5/4) 1:47 - 11/8 1:51 - 10/8 1:53 - 12/8 1:55 - 11/8 1:59 - 12/8 2:03 - 11/8 2:34 - 10/8 3:16 - 12+11/8 -- NOTES -- PLEASE TAKE THE TIME SIGNATURES IN THIS VIDEO WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. I never claimed that the time signatures in this video is official or should be the consensus anyway. This video is NOT a good way to look at the song's time signatures, it was never the intention anyway since it was only meant to count the time signature changes. 17a's video does it better, though has different time signatures compared to mine.    • The Third Sanctuary - Time Signature Visua...   The beat counter may be off in some beats, it is kinda hard to work on timing that counter correctly and I'm not spending more time on that. De-tune (in cents) was specified instead of the specific frequency (hertz). This is to visualize the de-tune in a more FL Studio composer way as it is more accurate when attempting to recreate this song. (NO, it's not the same as "-40 cents". The soundfonts will sound different. The soundfonts are SPECIFICALLY pitched up by 60 cents. (Well, depends if some other soundfonts in the song are specifically listed as different tunings in the sample sheet. Just to be sure, check the sample sheet.)) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... 9/8 Time Signature was chosen for the intro of the song to perfectly balance nine 8th beats of melody and nine 8th beats of rest and be a bit more realistic in terms of beat counting compared to 18/8. It CAN be replaced as 18/8 in the video (though this would be impractical for writing sheets), as well as the 10/8 sections which can be replaced with 5/4. I don't really agree with the 5/8 time signature though as the melody of those parts suggests 10/8. The argument for a mixed time signature for the 12+11/8 part and considering that as one time signature instead of 20+ time signature changes with switching between 12/8 and 11/8 is the only argument I will take seriously and consider myself losing to such. But it is it what it is, I cannot change the video, I do not plan to make an update anyway, and 35 time signature changes pull in more views. I'm not really sure if you SHOULD count every time signature change as the song switches back and forth 11/8 and 12/8, or it should be considered as one mixed time signature since it consistently switches between the two every measure. Don't know which one is correct, or more correct, but the more the time signature changes, the higher the counter goes, so I'm definitely picking the switching one. If the switching proves to be definitively wrong, then I admit my losses. I never claimed that the time signatures in this video is official or should be the consensus anyway. There had been a lot of comments regarding the background "moving". As a definitive response to this, this is NOT an intentional design I did for the background. I'm not sure but it's more of a byproduct or an effect of what I did to the background, which was just a simple opacity and layering thing, and YouTube's compression. I have yet to replicate this effect so I haven't seen it with my own eyes yet. This was supposed to just be a test for the Third Sanctuary Oscilloscope View video I was planning to make (after nini fixes his recreation), but I feel like this is enough to get me more views than that video would ever give me, so I decided to make it a video and upload it. I do not have plans to make the oscilloscope view anymore since this video in fact got me more views than the osc view would ever give me, and I've lost interest in making oscilloscope views. I didn't check if the signatures kept alternating at the outro of the song, so the counter in the video might be more inaccurate than I expected. I think you can figure out the time signature based on the length of silence at the end of the song, but make sure you do that on the file version. The OST uploads, which is the audio I used, has a weird amount of silence at the end of songs, so use the audio file of this song found in the game files instead. I don't know about the parities between file version and OST version of this song, so do watch out for any differences as well that may affect your observations. Honestly, I should've made the time signature display at the end to disappear as well and made the counter centered, but eh. That's just my perfectionistic side talking. Keep crying, 23/8 supporters. -- END OF NOTES -- (Special Thanks) Time signatures provided by: satralia pruscia Cadence Hira 17a Other information provided by (as the time I made this video): stormstudios1 the mech 300 reiiini Purrspctiv (Undertale + Deltarune 3-4 Sample Sheet) My most viewed long-form video!
