The First Sunday in Lent-February 26th 2023

Words. They're small but mighty, and like all mighty things, they can be used to do good things, or not so good things. All to often, people use words to hurt, or to belittle, or to attack others, rather than to encourage, comfort, or help others. I've had it happen to me, you've had it happen to you, and when it happens often enough, we can even come to believe what others say about us. Given that, its very important to know what God says about us, and this week we talk about that. The First Congregational Church of Kent is a Spirit-filled congregation of the United Church of Christ, and we welcome everyone to join us in worship, learning, and service, no matter what your spiritual background might be, or even if you don't have much of a spiritual background at all!
