9:30 a.m. Mass of the Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

#LIVE | Welcome to St. Bernard Catholic faith community in Glassell Park, California, and our celebration of the Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Lo, I am sending my messenger. + Is it outlandish to think or imagine that God asks this question each day of us, as he asked Isaiah — "Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?" Is it equally outlandish to think or imagine that our open response could or even should be — "Here I am," I said; “send me!" Surely, we believe that God is always calling. Surely, we believe that he is not limited to our moments of prayer. Surely, God can come to us and invite us in every circumstance of our life, every moment, good and bad, grace-filled and sinful, full and empty, sacred and profane. God is grand. God is big. God is GOD the eternal one. He asks — "Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?" + On this #OrdinaryTime, we gather as the Body of Christ with #LACatholics, and our viewers around the world — especially our online communities in the #Philippines, and #Italy.
