Titanic Original Survivors Interviews from 1956 & 1970 *Must See*

This video features rare survivor interviews recorded in 1956 and 1970, decades after the sinking of RMS Titanic on April 14–15, 1912. These interviews capture the memories of people who experienced the disaster firsthand. Like many recollections recorded many years after a traumatic event, the survivors speak from personal memory, emotion, and reflection after a lifetime of carrying that experience. Some accounts may differ in details or perspective, which is common when individuals recall events that happened long before the recordings were made. What remains powerful is hearing the voices of those who were actually there. Preserving these interviews allows us to hear directly from the generation that witnessed one of the most famous maritime disasters in history.
