Have you ever longed to see your entire life's path, especially during those dark, uncertain days? We'd love a detailed roadmap, like a GPS, guiding every turn until the end. But God, in His tender, fatherly care, gives us something even better: a lamp. "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path," the psalmist whispers. A lamp doesn't illuminate the whole valley or distant mountains; ti casts just enough light for the next step. This isn't a lack of care from God's part but an invitation to trust. God's Word-His promises, commands, and truth— is your faithful light. And who is this Word? Jesus. He is the living Word who came ot walk with us. The baby in the manger grew to be the man on the cross, the Light of the World. You don't have to see the end of the road. Just trust the One holding the light. Follow what God says to do right now, and He wil guide your next step. This Advent, don't despair over the unknown future. Embrace the Light that illuminates your present moment. For the One who spoke the world into being holds your life in His hands. Trust Him to lead you, one step at a time, through the darkness and into the dawning of His eternal day. 🙏 Prayer: Lord, my heart wants to see so far ahead. Forgive my anxiety. Thank you that your Word si a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Help me to trust you for just the next step.
