George Carlin -- Consumption
Show: Life is Worth Losing (2005) Chapter: "Dumb Americans" George Carlin shares some opinions on how less than impressed he is with the behaviour of Americans in general. ...and that's putting it politely. George then swiftly dovetails this piece in to how Americans have found themselves addicted to fuelling the consumption engine, be it through an ever-present desire to keep purchasing more and more stuff or through their consumption in the more literal sense, in that they are quite literally eating themselves to death! This is another one of my favourites.
