If you want to organize your thoughts when speaking English, start by deciding what matters first. You may have several ideas in your mind at the same time. Then it can be hard to know where to start. This can lead to rambling. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to choose what to say first. You’ll also learn how to decide which details belong with that idea. You’ll learn how to: Decide what you want to do before you decide what to say Choose one idea to start with Decide which details belong with that idea Let other ideas wait until later Start speaking without planning every sentence first Practice with a real conversation example This gives you a clear place to start when someone asks what you think.
