Little Flower Novena Day 5

Little Flower Novena Day 5

Thérèse entered Carmel, hidden from the world behind a veil and habit. Though unnoticed by society, she did not ignore its needs. Her life became one of deep prayer, offered in silence and love. She prayed especially for the faltering footsteps of the young—that they might find the path to truth and light. Her heart reached beyond the cloister walls, embracing missionaries, the dying, and all who struggled in darkness. Though she never left the convent, her prayers traveled far, bringing grace where it was most needed. Thérèse reminds us that prayer is never wasted. Even when we feel unseen or powerless, our intercession can be a lifeline for someone else. In God’s economy, hidden sacrifices bear visible fruit. Like Thérèse, we can offer our quiet moments, our sufferings, and our joys for those who are hurting—trusting that God will use them to heal, strengthen, and guide. Today, let us ask: Who needs my prayers? How can I offer my hidden life for the sake of others? St. Thérèse, teach us to pray with confidence and love, believing that even the smallest offering can change the world. In her honor, we say: Sign of the Cross St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus, please pick a rose from the heavenly garden and send it to us with a message of love. We ask you to obtain the favors that we seek: (state your intention or hold it in your heart) We ask that you, St. Therese of Lisieux, recommend our requests to Mary, Queen of Heaven, so that she may intercede for us, with you before her Son, Jesus Christ. As these favors are granted, we will love you more and more, and be better prepared to spend eternal happiness with you in Heaven. St. Therese of the Little Flower, pray for us. Sign of the Cross
