References John 3 : 1-8 Act 2 : 1-12 Pentecost is the festival when Christians celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is celebrated on the Sunday 50 days after Easter. The festival of Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Feast of Weeks. In the Christian tradition, this event represents the birth of the early church. Speaking in tongues, is a practice in which people utter words or speech-like sounds, often thought by believers to be languages unknown to the speaker. Rev. Hanook Haq at Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Nabah Road Lahore talks about how smog surrounds a city and environmental experts came up with the only solution that only a strong current of air can fade the smog away. Similarly, sometimes our lives are surrounded by smog and we also need a strong current of air. John 3:8 “ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” #SaintAndrewsPresbyterianChurchNabahRoadLahore #pentecost #holyspirit #jesus #church #pentecostal #God #apostolic #smog #wind
