Pine Forest Sleep Noise | Relaxation & Meditation | 12 Hours | BLACK SCREEN | Tinnitus & Anxiety
Have you ever noticed how the resinous scent of pine can instantly calm your mind? It’s no surprise, then, that pine forests have long been symbols of relaxation, their natural sounds and aromas easing stress and inviting restful sleep. But how could I capture that essence in a single, soothing experience? I turned to my online oracle, searching for guidance on what a pine forest might sound like if distilled into the perfect sleep sound. Here is what was suggested: Low, Earthy Resonance (Brown Noise & Delta Waves): A deep, steady hum, like the vibrations of soil and tree trunks, combined with delta waves. This creates a grounding effect, promoting deep sleep and relaxation by encouraging the brain into a restful, restorative state. Healing Tones (174Hz & 528Hz): 174Hz and 528Hz frequencies are known for their healing properties—174Hz for pain relief and 528Hz for DNA repair. These soothing tones resonate gently, guiding the body and mind into a restorative state, perfect for sleep. Green Noise & Pine Branch Rustling: Green noise, often associated with nature’s most calming frequencies, blends with the soft rustling of pine needles and leaves. This sound mirrors the tranquil environment of a pine forest, bringing peace and relaxation for restful sleep. So, taking to my lab (and my usual resources), I was able to conjure up something that I feel really nails the brief. Starting with fabric and bark scratching, I created a low brown noise and layered in some delta waves using my MIDI keyboard. Next, I added healing tones (174Hz and 528Hz) before using the keyboard once again to enhance the sound. To top it off, I created green noise by brushing and shaking our Christmas tree's pine branches and needles (which led to quite the post-Christmas mess!) and running the sounds through the usual filters. The result is incredibly pleasing—something fresh and new, and hopefully soothing for you all. So, for the last time this year—sleep long and sleep well, friends!
