We discover hidden gems you won't want to miss as well as the most famous temples in and around the city including the Batu Caves, Thean Hou Temple and so much more. We got lost in the hidden jungle of Kuala Lumpur whilst gazing up at the skyscrapers - it's going to be a wild one, here's what we go up to! Our Kuala Lumpur Adventure Includes: ✨ Batu Caves: After visiting the Batu Caves 10 years ago, I was so excited to come back and show my sister, Tash this iconic temple. It did not disappoint! Incredible architecture, vibrant colours at every turn and the amazing 140m tall golden statue of Lord Murugan towering above us. We had a special moment recieving our spiritual blessing for good luck and loved receiving a Bindi and connecting with local people over this. Climbing the 272 steps was a challenge but it was emotional seeing locals carry their loved ones ashes up these stairs for their last resting place. At the top of the steps, is a stunning temple and lots of monkeys!! 🏮 Chinese New Year at Thean Hou Temple: We celebrated the Lunar New Year at the magnificent Thean Hou Temple! We were amazed by the vibrant decorations, traditional rituals, and festive atmosphere as we welcomed the new year! We played a Fortune Reader game, which was great for Tash and I but not so good for Ross... We also enjoyed the stunning views of the city whilst here. 🍜 Chinatown & Hidden Temples: After visiting the Central Market, we headed into the bustling energy of Chinatown! We explored its vibrant markets, stumbled upon hidden temples, and soaked in the rich cultural heritage along with so much street art. 🎨 Art & Atmosphere: Get lost with us in the colorful streets filled with incredible street art and vibrant stalls. The atmosphere is electric, and you'll find unique treasures at every turn. 🌃 Petronas Towers at Night: Wow we absolutely loved seeing the iconic Petronas Twin Towers in all their illuminated glory as soon as the sun went down! We captured the breathtaking night views and shared the magic of this architectural marvel. 🍽️ Budget-Friendly Foodie Feast: Kuala Lumpur is a food lover's paradise! We explored FOUR incredible food options surrounding the Petronas Towers, proving that you can enjoy delicious meals without breaking the bank. Get ready for a culinary adventure, wish we were back there eating all that delicious food! 🌳 Hidden Jungle Eco Forest: Escape the city buzz and join us as we venture into the hidden jungle Eco Forest. Just a stone's throw from the skyscrapers, this lush oasis offers a tranquil escape and a unique perspective on Kuala Lumpur. We loved exploring the hidden jungle and running up and down the bridges. 🚇 Exploring by MRT: We navigated the city like locals, utilizing the efficient and budget-friendly MRT system. We learnt how to get around Kuala Lumpur with ease and save money on transportation, we couldn't believe how cheap the rides were!!
