Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PS1) Playthrough - Hard Mode - No Saves/Deaths (Best Ending+Jill's Diary)
Its time for actual Hallowen related stuff Ladies and Gentleman! what better way to do it then playing a horror game? This is a Playthrough of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for the PS1 and i complete the game without saving or dying while also getting the Best Ending and Jill"s Diary. To get Jill's Diary you must collect all files in the game in actual order listed in the file menu and not only that you cannot skip then with the Triangle button as you have to read then and press "Exit" otherwise it doesnt work. RE3 is the first in the series to add a dodge mechanic to the game but the way the game describes it is weird to say the least so here i will break it down how it works: Theres 2 ways to dodge in the game: 1st one is if you are about to get hit or grabbed almost at the same time you were about to shoot you will dodge the attack. Its very difficult to time this one and most often will just happen by itself on accident really. The 2nd and the more technical one is: If you get attacked while you are in the middle of your aiming animation, then you will dodge. You can get additional dodge frames by turning your back at the enemy and let auto aim correct you as even if you finish the aiming animation, the turn around animation also gives you dodge frames. With the above said the slower the weapon is to ready up the more dodge frames you will have. Unlike later games, dodging doesnt have invincibility frames at all so you might get hit while you dodge if the game does it the wrong way or next to a wall which is why doing RE3 without taking hit is not 100% skill based as the game might screw you over. In this run i will play the game in the most corservative way possible by using the knife wherever its safe to do so. Unlike Re2 where zombies had a resistance to knife slashes, here on Re3 they do not so against zombies the knife will take almost the same amount of slashes to kill a zombie compared to handgun shots and thats a good thing as i will be killing Nemesis everytime i see him so i can get all the weapon cases all the way to the M4A1 and that can make the ammo count tight in some places. RE3 allows for more angle shots compared to forward, fully down and fully up of RE2 and this comes into play alot in RE3 if you can master it as the Shotgun can be used to "one shot" zombies by blowing their legs and finishing then off by a knife slash (since crawlers always have 1 HP left). Below i will list whats the best way ammo wise to deal with each enemy in the game: Zombies: Handgun+Knife on solo ones and Shotgun for groups. Try to blow their legs off and finish then off with the knife or just exit the room to despawn then. Dogs: Same as the above in the first sentence. Drain Deimos and Brain Suckers: They are weak to acid rounds but also die in one shot to the magnum. Early on try avoiding then as the shotgun wont always knock then back even at point blank 100% of the time. Hunter Beta/Gamma: Use the M4A1 on then or the Magnum as it always one shots then. If using the magnum shoot then while aiming slightly downwards otherwise it might miss as they run close to the ground. The M4A1 doesnt have this problem. Crows and sliding Worms: They each die in one shot. Better to just avoid but otherwise the handgun (especially the Eagle 6.0) will do the job. Giant Spider: Better to avoid then but otherwise the Eagle 6.0 at long distance will do the job. They will also get one shotted by the magnum. Grave Digger: He is weak to acid rounds and its a good idea to make then to fight it if you dont wanna wait for the light pole to fall off. Nemesis (All forms): Nemesis take the most damage to Freeze Rounds in all his forms but before you have access to then, the rule of thumb is to avoid using the shotgun (regular shots) against him as you cant reliably fire and dodge him. Nemesis AI is very smart and wont fall for most tricks besides forcing him to get stuck on edges of the map. Theres alot of fake videos on youtube of RE3 listing "Fail Safe" strategies against Nemesis but such a thing doesnt exist as his AI will make sure of that. The only way to avoid taking damage from him completely is to basically get lucky or always flee from him (in a normal run without Infinite Launcher) as baiting his grab by always staying to his right is also not guaranteed. Theres alot of fake runs of RE3 in here in general like Knife only, No damage, kill everything run or kill all Nemesis run. How are they fake? the run is spliced( or savestate abuse edited out) or its a tas while the video clams its not and i watched i few of those back then not knowing better but now i know. #ResidentEvil3,#SurvivalHoror,#Hallowen,#Capcom,#Biohazard3,#ResidentEvil,#Playstation,#ps1 If you enjoy the contents of my channel as much as how much i love making then, don't forget to like, share, subscribe, turn on the bells of notification and most importantly, have fun! ➡️Link to subscription: / @rugalbernstein777
