Its still chilly, but the blooms don't care, its time for them to shine. This week it was such a pleasant surprise to see that my Pieris Japonica (Japanese Andromeda) was in bloom! I have 2 varieties growing in my garden and both bloom with beautiful bell shaped pink blooms. A wonderful evergreen shrub that provides winter interest and late winter early spring blooms. The spring planters that I made up were ready to be moved to the front porch and I love the clustered arrangement of having multiple spring blooming pots on either side of the stairs. Soon the tulips, daffodils, and hyacinth will be bursting with color. My seedlings that I started last month are looking good and getting ready to be potted up, and TJ Maxx has received many beautiful garden related spring things. Come take a look with me.
