T4 Van stereo stays on / won't turn off when ignition key removed fix (how to)

The ignition barrels ignition live switch (which is activated/deactivated by a spring) can become stuck due to age or lack of use... using lubrication & a wiggle whilst pulling the key will release the ignition live section of the key barrel.
