Teaching a dog to beg, The trick here is teaching not to jump up but to keep their backsides on the floor while only raising their front feet, never easy when it is a poodle whose default stance is high up on their back legs while waving their front legs in the air. But the lovely treats sure helped to convince them of the behaviour I was rewarding. I know of no other way than positive reward based training to achieve this.
