Kingdom Come Deliverance II ep11 Bird of Prey (tell Vostatek), The Jaunt (first half of quest)
In the Bird of Prey quest, after dealing with the poacher near Rocktower Pond and choosing to let him go, Henry returns to Gamekeeper Vostatek to report his decision. When Henry explains that he spared the poacher, Vostatek reacts based on Henry’s reasoning. If Henry emphasizes the poacher’s desperation and claims he was no longer a threat, Vostatek may begrudgingly accept the decision but warn Henry about the dangers of leniency. This choice slightly lowers Henry’s reputation with Vostatek but reinforces the game’s theme of moral ambiguity. Vostatek then assigns Henry to investigate another poaching case near Vidlak Pond, pushing forward the broader questline. In The Jaunt, Henry begins by traveling to Semine after speaking with Blacksmith Radovan in Tachov. Upon arriving in Semine, Henry encounters Jurko, a drunken villager who challenges him to a fistfight. After defeating or enduring Jurko, Henry meets Captain Gnarly and Lord Semine in the courtyard. The two explain that Radovan’s cart and hired hands are missing and invite Henry to join their search. Before setting out, Henry acquires a horse for the journey, typically Pebbles, either through negotiation or purchase from Groom Ballatay. The group sets off to investigate the missing cart. Along the way, Lord Semine challenges Henry to a duel at a practice pen to test his skills. Using a club provided by Captain Gnarly, Henry must carefully time blocks and counterattacks to defeat Semine without losing too much stamina. Winning the duel earns Henry Gnarly’s club and shield as permanent rewards and bolsters his reputation with both men. The group continues their ride to Troskowitz, where they speak with Bailiff Thrush about the cart’s whereabouts. Thrush reveals that the cart was seen heading east toward Apollonia. Following this lead, they ride out again, eventually discovering clues such as sacks of charcoal scattered along the road.
