Cog Neuro Lecture #5 - Synaptic Transmission Part 1: Neurotransmitters

In this lecture I focus on the processes involved in chemical transmission across they synapse starting with how an action potential causes exocytosis, the function of autoreceptors, reuptake transporter proteins and enzyme degradation. Finally I discuss specific neurotransmitters, how the are classified and synthesized.
