Vigil - Great Feast of Nativity - 12.24.2021

Submit yourselves, you mighty ones! Even if again you strengthen yourself, again you shall be overthrown. Take counsel, if you wish, but it will come to nothing. Make your plans, if you wish, but they will not stand among you. We do not fear your threats, nor are we troubled. For we will hollow the Lord our God, and Him we will fear. If I trust in Him, He will be my sanctification. I will wait for Him. He will save me. Behold, I, and the children whom God has given me. The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. To those who dwell in the land of the shadow of death, a light is risen. For unto us a Child is born; unto us a Son is given. And the government shall be upon His shoulder. And of His peace there shall be no end. And His Name shall be called the Angel of Great Counsel. Wonderful Counselor. Mighty God. Eternal Ruler. Prince of Peace. The Father of the World to Come. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
