These sourdough discard pizza rolls are a crowd favorite! You can completely customize them with your favorite pizza toppings and make them as big or small as you’d like. Perfect for hosting, a weekend snack, or a fun dinner, these rolls are sure to please! FULL RECIPE 👇🏻 175g warm milk 3 tsp active yeast 1/3c sugar 1 egg 1 1/2 tsp salt 6 Tbs softened butter 425g flour 1. Mix milk and yeast together 2. Add all other ingredients and mix until a rough dough begins to form 3. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and no longer sticky 4. Rest for 1.5-2 hours until dough doubles 5. Pull small sections of the dough off and stretch into a flat, round disc. Put your toppings of choice in the center and fold edges into the middle and pinch together to form a ball. 6. Place into greased baking dish and brush with am egg wash (1 egg yolk and 1 Tbs milk) and let the rolls rise for 30-45 minutes 7. Brush again with the egg wash and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top. 8. Let the rolls cool slightly before brushing garlic butter over the top (4 Tbs melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, grated Parmesan) These rolls are great to freeze for later as well - let them rise for 30-45 minutes after shaping and filling them, and then thaw completely and brush with an rgg wash before baking!
