The former underboss of the Italian mafia confirmed that the story was true and offered up an explanation stating that the victim "did it to himself" because he violated the mafia's rules. He also shared how disappointed he was in the victim for leaving behind his wife and kids. As the conversation moves along, Sammy The Bull discusses his release from prison to a witness protection program in Tempe, Arizona. He reveals that John Gotti sent some of his henchmen down to Tempe in order to kill him, but his security was so good that the feds ended up arrested them before they could carry out their plan.
