Aug 22, 1990 Al Badr Mosque in City of Suez caught on camera on shore & USS Saratoga simultaneously

Day 16 - August 22, 1990 - around 2pm local time, the USS Saratoga was making its exit of the Canal into the Red Sea, passing the City of Suez and the Al Badr Mosque. When AFP Photographer Mike Nelson was taking the photo below of the USS Saratoga passing by the Al Badr Mosque, AD3 David White of VA-35, was using his trusty VHS recorder from the flight deck of the Saratoga, both capturing unique angles of the same event. Now 30 years later these two simultaneous image captures come together in the video below.
