How long does it take to raise Echeveria succulents from seeds
Echeveria seeds can take quite some time to go from a humble, little seed to anything that resembles an actual Echeveria shape. If patience is not one of your things, cuttings or leaf propagation may be a better way to go. I grow succulents in my small nursery often from scratch but rarely use seeds as they tend to grow slow, though this varies and some cultivars/ species are not that bad. When it comes to Echeveria i almost never bother. It takes over a year just to get a small rosette formed. Having said that, if you have time and enjoy a challenge, raising Echeveria from seed can be fun, especially if your goal is to cross-pollinate and create new cultivars!
