PEARL iZUMi Attack Long Sleeve Jersey & Bib Short Review - feat. Raw Edge Hem + Reflective Details
PEARL iZUMI’s Attack collection of cycling apparel offers premium details and performance fit at budget friendly price points. In this review we’ll be looking at the latest Attack Bib Shorts and Attack Long Sleeve Jersey. The Attack Bib Shorts retail for $120 and feature an upgraded polyester knit and raw edge leg hem. Additionally, the bib shorts now feature the ELITE Levitate Chamois for additional comfort on short or long rides. To complete the kit we also have the $90 Attack Long Sleeve Jersey in the matching Twilight color scheme. Constructed of 100% recycled polyester, the jersey has a modern design with performance fit. Both of the cycling kit pieces feature PEARL iZUMi’s BioViz reflective elements to keep riders visible in low light conditions. The Attack Bib Shorts are PEARL iZUMi’s mid-level road cycling bib shorts. For 2024, PEARL iZUMi has upgraded the shorts with a polyester knit fabric as well as upgraded chamois. The Attack Bib Shorts are offered in five different color schemes from standard black and twilight colors, black and yellow as well as twilight Spectral graphic option. We have the twilight version in this review which has an attractive navy color with a slight sheen to it. The bib shorts have a premium solid color scheme with only a slight difference in color for the leg hems. Branding is limited to a reflective PEARL iZUMi logo on the rear which is a thoughtful touch. The bib shorts are constructed from 80% recycled polyester and 20% spandex with minimal panels to optimize the fit. There are minimal seams to ensure a performance fit that doesn’t inhibit your motion while the raw leg hem seam eliminates any fabric bulk and helps hold leg warmers in place. PEARL iZUMi has also updated the Attack Bib Shorts to use the dual density ELITE Levitate chamois. This utilizes different materials to provide comfort on the saddle for short or long rides.
