Corpus Christie - Our Lady of the Holy Rosary ST Richard Catholic Church

On Sunday, June 11th, 2023 St. Richard Catholic Church in Miami, Florida held its annual Corpus Christi procession, which is also known as the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ. The procession began with a Mass celebrated by Fr. Manny Alvarez, who then led the crowd carrying the Blessed Sacrament through the streets surrounding the Coral Reef Park gazebo on 77th Ave. and back to our church..The procession was accompanied by hymns sung by the choir and members of the congregation. Many parishioners also carried banners, flags, and flowers in honor of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. The procession ended back at the church where the Benediction was given.For many Catholic communities, the Corpus Christi procession is an important event where the faithful publicly profess their faith and devotion to Jesus Christ present in the Eucharist. It is a powerful and beautiful way to show our love for the Lord and to share this love with others in our community.
