Good Friday reminds us that emptiness isn’t always a sign of loss—it can be the setup for God’s greatest work. Jesus emptied Himself on the cross to pay for our sin, taking our place and satisfying the debt we could never repay. The tomb was empty because death was defeated, and the empty moments in our lives can become sacred spaces where God meets us. When we realize we’re empty, we’re finally ready to be filled—because only Jesus can turn empty into everything.
