'John Wick 5' status is guaranteed after Keanu Reeves' stunning declaration.

The franchise's boss has officially confirmed John Wick 5, after Keanu Reeves shut down speculations of another film. In an interview with ComicBook.com on Tuesday, Lionsgate executive Jenefer Brown said that the fifth installment of the film is in the works. "The world continues to develop and expand in wonderful ways. Of course, we have 'Ballerina', our first spin-off film, and we can't wait for it to be released to the public. Of course, we've stated that we're working on a fifth 'John Wick' film," added the studio executive. "I believe there will be additional spin-offs, including a television series and a video game. We've announced that we're working on a fifth 'John Wick' picture... (John Wick) may be (dead). "We are all waiting with bated breath to find out," Jenefer remarked. This latest revelation comes after Keanu dashed the expectations for the forthcoming flick. "You know, the character's dead," the 60-year-old actor previously said the site.
