In the first inning, Camille hit an inside the park grand slam. Royal Flush came back to win despite trailing 4-0 in the first. MHK Optimist Tribute 12u 12U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Annistyn W singled to center field, Ava K grounded out, Royal Flush dropped a third strike, and Savannah F singled to center field, each scoring one run. Royal Flush added one run in the second. MHK Optimist Tribute 12u 12U dropped a third strike, making the score 11-4. A walk by Hannah M extended the Royal Flush lead to 13-4 in the bottom of the third inning. Kennison D led things off in the circle for Royal Flush. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and five runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking two. Annalise V opened the game for MHK Optimist Tribute 12u 12U. The hurler allowed three hits and 10 runs (seven earned) over one inning, striking out one and walking five. Aubrie S, Camille, Hailey M, and Hannah each collected one hit for Royal Flush. Carlie R paced Royal Flush with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game.
